How do I save items in different categories for better organization and management?
You can add and save items in the Item Library or the RFQ. To do this, click on “Add New Item.”
A pop-up will appear to help you categorize the item:
There are 3 Categories
1.Raw Materials
Specify
item name:- the of item you want
process:- mention the process you want
material name:- the material you want to make the item with
dimensions:- the length and breadth of the item
target cost:- price of the item based on the costs associated with making it.
post process:- any specific requirement post process
quantity:- the number of item you want
Description:- explain about the item in detail.
2.Custom Manufacturing(Made-to-order parts),
Specify:-
item name:- the of item you want
material name:- the material you want to make the item with
process:- mention the process you want
post process:- any specific requirement post process
target cost:- price of the item based on the costs associated with making it.
quantity:- the number of item you want
Description:- explain about the item in detail.
3.Bought-out parts/OEM parts (a part used in a machine that is not manufactured in-house by the manufacturer of the machine).
Specify:-
item name:- the of item you want
process:- mention the process you want
material name:- the material you want to make the item with
dimensions:- the length and breadth of the item
target cost:- price of the item based on the costs associated with making it.
quantity:- the number of item you want
Description:- explain about the item in detail.
The reason we ask all the details so there is a no miscommunication between suppliers and buyers. If there is a material we are missing you can let us know about it. for eg aluminium 60161. And in process section you can let us know the process you want, like CNC machining each field and explanation.
Select a category and provide additional details for the item. Once you’ve added all the necessary information and files, click “Save and Add” to save the item in the Item Library.
