What is the RFQ dashboard, and how can I utilize it effectively?
The RFQ Dashboard is a dedicated tool created after sending out Request for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers. Its purpose is to enable efficient tracking and management of the RFQ process. Here’s how you can effectively utilize the RFQ Dashboard:
Accessing the Dashboard: Navigate to the RFQ list and click on the specific RFQ name to access its dedicated dashboard.
List of Suppliers: View a comprehensive list of suppliers with whom the RFQ has been shared.
RFQ Status: Keep track of the RFQ status at the supplier’s end, including:
RFQ Sent: Indicates that the RFQ has been sent to the supplier.
RFQ Accepted: Signals that the supplier has accepted the RFQ, and you can expect a quotation soon.
Quote Received: Shows that a quotation has been received from the supplier.
RFQ Rejected: Indicates if the supplier rejected the RFQ, and you can find the reason in the “View Detail” section.
Share RFQ: Add more suppliers to the RFQ by clicking “Add New Supplier.” You can add more suppliers to the same RFQ without creating a new RFQ, and same suppliers will be available in new RFQ’s.
Compare Quotes: Utilize the “Compare Quotes” option to easily assess different quotations.
